Friday Favorite - Three-Crock Slow Cooker

My old Crockpot bit the dust and I had been looking for a new one.  I had also been bemoaning the fact that in downsizing, I no longer had cabinet space for a large and a small slow cooker.  Then I found this online -- it's a Hamilton Beach slow cooker and came with three crocks, two-quart, four-quart and six-quart.  I'm cooking a five-pound pork roast in the large crock this morning; the meat is in and there's plenty of room for the carrots, potatoes, and onions.  Best of all, it was half-price through Amazon ($34.99)!  Happy Day!

I love Amazon deals! My favorite email comes from Amazon saying my shipment is on its way!

Thanks, Carol! It's my birthday weekend and we're going to the OKC Art Museum to see the movie costume display. I'll post something about it next week.

Me, too, Mary! And, as you know, now I'll have another one coming soon!

Oooooo! I LOVE how this crock comes with three sizes - what a great idea. And the colors are lovely. I'm a big crock pot cooker in the winter ... so easy and delicious! I'll have to check this one out when my current crock give out - which, unfortunately, I feel might be soon!;)Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving such a lovely note! Glad to meet you!!!

What a beauty! Why didn't someone think of that years ago, huh!

Thanks, Sandy. Now, with the Internet, we can actually search and sometimes find that someone has thought about (and produced) what we want. And that's a good thing, as Martha would say, right?

I'm not much of a cook; however, I love the title of your blog...it's so peaceful. I'm going to look around now. Thanks.

Mary, I'm so happy that you stopped by my blog. I am adding yours to my blogroll, since I'm interested in writing. I am a "minimally-published" writer. There are a couple of my short stories on my blog (tabs at top). Annie

Popped in from SITS to say hi!

So happy that you came by! I notice that you are a writer and have enjoyed some great young adult titles. I wonder if you write them?

I never used my slow cooker much, until I started teaching full-time. Now it is a life saver!

I LOVE the idea that this one has three different size bowls for various occasions of family feeding or large get-togethers. I will keep this in mind when I am in the market to replace mine.

I want to thank you for the encouragement "to flash" the cover of Life Studies. It will definitely attract the attention of those who think of me as a book nerd :)

Thanks, Molly! In my life as a librarian, I was aware of those who would stereotype us as book nerds. We tried to change the public's perceptions in many ways -- one library even published their own calendar of librarians in various, less "studious" settings!
