I'm glad too, though, that your dad gave you the other beautiful items! (I wondered about the books, too...but as in....how many are there?? And some titles??)<br />:)BECKYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15184458949017900541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2302056359724394882.post-69457442315457388182011-03-06T10:33:59.738-06:002011-03-06T10:33:59.738-06:00Wow! Love your stoneware but what a shocking tale this was! I will be aware of this from now on - thanks! How nice that you have this stoneware from your step-mother. That tureen and pitcher are such pretty shapes. laurieBargain Decorating with Lauriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13582640485560903639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2302056359724394882.post-25366176936996338412011-02-27T15:48:38.620-06:002011-02-27T15:48:38.620-06:00Oh my goodness. I keep them on my dining room table for much of the year (except when we're eating!). They are "A Year in the Country: Inspirational Creations using Nature's Seasonal Bounty" by Tessa Evelegh and "A Weekend in the Country: Seasonal Recipes and Ideas for Relaxed Entertaining" by Linda Burgess and Sally Anne Scott. I like these two books because they are seasonal; I can always flip through them and find a lovely photograph page to leave open, no matter what time of year it is.
